Inventory Process
We take pride in our detailed and thorough inventory process.
As we assess the damaged areas of your home, we begin by photographing your belongings, noting the room each came from, to ensure they return to the correct location after clean-up. Then, each object is inspected to determine whether it requires restoration using one of our eco-friendly cleaning methods or replacement. The photographed objects are labeled, categorized by the room in your home, and finally uploaded to a cloud account. Homeowners can access this account to view all their household items that need to be replaced or restored, and to see exactly what we have in our climate-controlled storage. Additionally, our clients find that our inventory cloud link is a great tool to share with their insurance adjusters. And, if you see an item on the inventory list that you need returned to you, we can easily schedule a delivery to return the piece as quickly as possible.
Content Cleaning
In addition to temporarily storing your possessions, WOW Total Cleaning & Restoration can clean and restore them to pre-damage condition. We utilize a variety of equipment, cleansing techniques, and cleaning products. Plus, all our cleaning products and disinfectants are eco-friendly and EPA-registered.
Here are just a few cleansing techniques that yield fantastic results:
- We use an ultrasonic cleaning technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to remove anything from dirt to oily chemicals. Our machine can access even the tiniest of crevices and gently penetrate porous surfaces to remove a variety of pollutants from your precious objects.
- Powerful commercial-grade washers and dryers are fantastic for laundering soft-surfaced items from your home.
- If objects have absorbed a strong odor, such as smoke, we may use our ozone chamber to remove it. Ozone (O3) gas fills the chamber and contacts all levels of each object’s surface, penetrating soft surfaces and oxidizing odors at their source.
- Effective SteraMist Systems may also be used to disinfect and remove pungent odors that have penetrated the surface of your beloved items. This uses ionized hydrogen peroxide technology and is safe on most surfaces, including sensitive equipment and even electronics.
- We also offer custom cleaning for specialty objects like oriental rugs.
